Michelle combines her background as a young adult novelist, civil rights attorney, and mom of four to provide dynamic presentations that inspire, empower, and equip attendees of all ages and backgrounds with tools to challenge structural inequalities and be a positive force for change in their communities.

She's delivered memorable presentations to audiences as varied as the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC); teacher’s conferences; NaNoWriMo seminar; bookstores; book clubs; podcasts; classrooms ranging from elementary to collegiate, as well as TV and radio appearances.
